Sammy Ray is what we call a late bloomer.  Meaning.  His name just got out there.  However, you won’t be able to tell from  all his many talents … Actor, musician, director,  producer and comedian  rolled  into one  ball of energy.  Along  with his  quaky personality you will  also  find some serious director skills.

Being a 57 year old native of Texas,  born December 27, 1961 the eighth child out of 12.  Sammy Ray constantly refers to himself as the “eight ball”.  At an  early childhood age he  became a follower of Jesus Christ.  After graduating from South Oak Cliff High School, and later attending Wiley College he studied for a Bachelor Degree in music education. Which has proven to become his second love .

Leaving  behind a 25 year Postal Career  &  two failed marriages, both producing two fine sons, he relocated to Los Angeles California. There he decided to continue his education enrolling in …  Diversified Vocational College, receiving a Certificate of achievement.  June 2012 he graduated from Associate Technical College, where he  now can be seen on a mirror plastered on  the school wall ...  Singing the National Anthem.

Today he has currently earned an Associates degree from LA Film School leaving enough credit hours which possibly may lead him to a BS in film. With this last shot of landing an acting gig or scoring a successful comedian role. Sammy Ray is aiming to hit the eight ball, into the right pocket.
